In 2014, founder Krista Li launched Two of a Kind Rentals in New York City. Year over year the company grew and occupied larger warehouses along the way. Here we are almost ten years later, providing specialty rentals for events on the opposite side of the country in Los Angeles, California.

Our furniture has been spotted in the offices of brands such as Google and Facebook, at trade show venues for exhibitions/concerts, or in wedding venues large and small. We’ve been featured in tv & film productions and setup shop in awesome spaces like museums.

In 2020 we moved from NYC —> LA and opened a southern California branch conveniently located close to venues throughout Los Angeles, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Beach Cities (Malibu, Santa Monica, Redondo Beach, Laguna Beach, etc.), Orange County and surrounding areas. Our team of professionals travels farther distances to Palm Springs, Joshua Tree, San Diego, Santa Barbara and beyond. You’ll see a nod to the Big Apple in a handful of our product names as a way to remember the city that first gave us wings.

We’re passionate about offering quality furniture for our customers, as we understand that these are some of the most treasured moments in their life. Many times these events are celebrations of major milestones (personal or professional) and we’re so honored to be apart of each and every one.

Our collection of rentals includes a hand picked assortment of lounge and dining furniture including a few custom built items built by us. We pride ourselves in offering top notch customer service before, during and after each event because we truly care about making the day magical for all involved.

CUSTOMER PICKUP

RENTAL MINIMUM: $300

We allow customers to pickup their rentals directly from our Gardena, CA warehouse. A staff member will help assist and give guidance, but will not help load your vehicle. We require sending at minimum two people for large/heavy items.

LOCAL DELIVERY

RENTAL MINIMUM: $1,000

Our team of professionals will handle the heavy lifting and bring the rentals to you! We’ll arrive to setup the items perfectly at your event. After the event ends, we’ll be back to retrieve everything and clear the venue. This is the most popular option.

OUT OF TOWN DELIVERY

RENTAL MINIMUM: $2,500

For farther distances we charge a little bit extra to cover gas, employee time and mileage, but we’ll deliver as far as you need! This includes delivery to destinations such as Palm Springs, Joshua Tree, San Diego & beyond.

Give us a call to schedule a warehouse walk-through to view our rental collection in person. We’re located at 13712 Alma Ave Gardena, CA 90249. We setup warehouse walk-through tours by appointment only.

HOW TO START A RENTAL ORDER

Request a rental quote by adding your favorite items to a Wishlist by clicking the "+" plus button found on all product pages. Increase the quantity of each item if needed. Next, click on the small icon on the bottom right side of your screen and fill in all fields such as your event dates, delivery address and your contact information. Click “Send List” to submit the request to us. Then sit back and relax while we work on generating the quote! You’ll receive an email from us same-day or the next business day with the rental quote attached.

ORDER MINIMUM

The order minimum is $300.00 for will call (in-store pickup) and $1,000.00 for hand-delivered orders. We suggest having your rental order delivered by our crew of trained professionals so that we can setup and place all items perfectly for you at the event. Since some items in our collection are large, heavy or delicate (or all of the above!) this service is definitely going to save you a headache or two.

  

PACKAGE PROGRAM

Rent a lounge package, a dining package or cocktail package and take advantage of visuals that we’re happy to generate and provide to you. This helps take the guess work out of the event design process and gives you a better idea of what your set of rentals will look like in a specific room/space. Ask us about our 3D rendering capabilities for some of the top venues in LA. We’re excited to announce more details soon about this time-saving software!

  

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK MY RENTALS?

Rentals are secured once a deposit is paid, which means you’ll want to submit payment earlier rather than later to secure your favorite items. Some customers book a few weeks before their event, while others take the less stressful route and book 1+ year in advance. We allow order changes up to 1-month before the event to eliminate the fear of being locked into an order that might change closer to the date.

 

LENGTH OF RENTAL

Good news: we don’t charge extra for delivering the day before the event or picking up the day after like most other shops do. Our 1-day rental rate is good for two days. If you’ll need the rentals 3+ days they’ll be an additional fee for extended rentals. We show a price breakdown on all product pages for a 1-day, 3-day, 7-day and one month rental.

 

WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY SERVICE

Delivery fees are based on round trip mileage to/from the venue, gas, mileage, employee head count, truck size, and more. All of our events are assigned a delivery manager and assisting crew to efficiently setup, place then tear down your rentals. We’re a team of professionals who love the event industry and are jazzed about making your rental experience the very best possible.

 

SHOWROOM APPOINTMENTS

Showroom visits are by appointment only and can be scheduled with our team. We’re located roughly 20-minutes south of DTLA and we’re conveniently located between Los Angeles and Orange County in a quiet row of commercial warehouses. Our address is 13712 Alma Ave Gardena, CA 90249.

We deliver to events throughout all of Southern California and we’ll even go farther distances if you need.
